Certification in Political Analysis or Public Policy

To become Certified in Political Science or Political Legal Analysis, you must have an accredited degree in politics with at least 18 hours of Political Science and qualifying Legal courses within an accredited Masters or Doctorate Program.

Certification Available

  1. CPS Certified Political Scientist – Board Certified in Politics
  2. CPM Certified Political Manager – Campaign Manager & Analyst
  3. CPP Certified in Public Policy – Policy Analyst
  4. ChPA Chartered Certified Political Analyst – Political Governmental Journalism Certification

Certification Requirements:

  1. Degree Education: passing all political science courses with a 2.5 or higher GPA.
  2. Experience: 2 Year of Political, Governmental, or Public Service.
  3. Accredited Degree from an accredited or governmental recognized program.
  4. Continuing Education
  5. Ethics – agree to the ethics requirements of the Society.

Graduate Waivers:

* You must have a relevant degree in the subject at hand to be certified in a specialty.  For instance, if you write for sports or business, you need a graduate or undergraduate business degree and not a simply a journalism or writing degree.
